chopper bike mods

Well its been a while since the old chopper bike has been on here. Lets say its gone threw some changes. As you can see it still sports its insane ape hangers! I just changed the vibe a bit with new paint some new decals, an original 60's schwinn badge, a new front wheel and a few things to add some old school flavor! (you can see what it looked like before in the 2nd post on this blog) custom touches: big bell- makes a ding dong type sound. 44.mag pedals- real but shorter 44.mag bullets. handelbar skull-just looks really cool and made of real bone! front wheel-slightly larger and a sweet white wall tire. awsome decals-bitchen pin-ups and a wolf to ride on the back fender. Spring seat-did away with occ sting ray seat for an more kick ass spring seat. Schwinn badge- its off an original crate grey ghost I think its the bomb!!

THE DEREK TRUCKS BAND

last night I went to see the Derek trucks band. I got there very early and was about 4th in line to get in to the venue. I instantly ran center stage my hands where on the stage the stage only came up to a little over my waist. Derek's super reverb was just inches away he was even closer, at any time I could have reached out and touched him. The show was insane beyond anything I could have imagined and I have seen them before. May be it was because I was right there It was crazy. At times it felt like he was ripping on me personally but he was ripping on everyone. The show was one of the best I have been to It was so powerful in fact I felt no one would believe me about it. At the end of the show I went out and stood by the bus and all members of the band except kofi were on board and signed my newly bought Live at the Georgia theatre. great night

The world is a strange place

I know I am super late on this but last night I seen the show intervention about Travis meeks former singer for days of the new. Since he's from the hood its was really distubing learning all about his meth addiction....His last record was amazing to me at least. I dug it and I hope he gets his shit together. Speaking of getting one's shit together I really need to get on the ball right now I feel like the band has no direction and I'm not doing anything to help. We have some big prospects but It gets more out of hand daily. I had 5 new songs written and after a bunch of pratices the guys just didn't seem to care about learning them. So I threw them away know I feel like I am searching for a direction that is exciting and one that isn't over there heads. For now we work on the TV show and acoustic stuff we are supposed to be preparing for recording but it probley wont happen for awhile. We need gigs. I have a few leads on some good stuff but I don't know what the result will be? Maybe things will turn around they have before in the blink of an eye. (sorry about misspellings and stuff but I just dont give a shit)

It's here the Paul Chen katana

I got home from work today and I was ready after all this time to open the box and hold the Paul Chen katana............As I removed it from its layers of protection I could see the black sword bag in the box (sword bag made from same material as a ninja suit). I then removed it, untied it, carefully pulling it out. It is indeed everything that they said and it is a real sword sharp enough to behead someone. The constuction of the katana is very good everything fits well nothing rattles.(a big problem with cheap swords)I am very happy with this sword and I will buy from them again.

Halloween I love it!!!!

This Halloween was pretty cool I just stayed home for once. I started making hallow's eve prep on Saturday. 1st I made a big pot of bean soup complete with carrots and potatoes and jalapano.(jason's brew) next I bought a stash of candy snickers, twix, reese's,and tootsie rolls. Then I carved a pumpkin and made a
jack-o-latern for the stairs. Next I put on a jazz is dead CD and baked some pumpkin seeds waiting for trick or treaters. Everything was great happy Halloween!

Awaiting my Paul Chen

Well, I will start this post by giving up some info about myself............At one point in my life I was really into martial arts (before becoming a guitar player supreme). I mean that's all I did train and train until I reached my goal............blackbelt perhaps, but really I just wanted to feel like I was doing something with myself that made me stronger, smarter, and a much more dangerous human, of course the latter was by default. So after studying several places I ended my training under SE fu Todd knight the white dragon and proclaimed master of the numchuckas. Which would ultimately become the weapon of choice for me..... What no one in my kung fu class knew was my 1st weapons training started with a sword...........A wooden one. I would lay and dream of having a real one in my mam maw's back yard. After a look at a mail order catalog at school I knew it was a lost cause a good katana was hundreds of dollars. Which brings us to now. I am finally in a position to get one all these years later! So a few nights ago I ordered a Paul Chen sword. They are known for being very sharp and very nice for the reasonable price. Most of all it is a real katana capable of being used the way it should be not as a wall hanger. I choose the practical pro it is really no better than the practical plus just a little longer I prefer them that way. I could get into the gory details but for now I will just say constuction materials are ok nothing special. I really just got this sword as a way of testing the Paul Chen hanwei forge's level of craftmanship. if its is what they say I will someday return to buy the katana to end all sword buying, for me a least. When it arrives I will post again with the full review and photo's.............Readers note this is the first time I have been excited about any thing that was not guitar oriented coming in the mail for a long time.
